Hello from your local American Heart Association CPR instructor!
I have had the pleasure of teaching many CPR classes in my local area over the years and look forward to many more.
In addition to teaching CPR, I am also an EMT and a dental assistant. I understand the situations and environments that are unique in different settings, and use my knowledge as an EMT to complement the curriculum.
Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere. Other than a public setting (such as a school, gym or mall) or a medical setting (such as a medical or dental office), did you know that most cardiac arrests actually occur at home?
We take many steps to protect the structure of our homes...let's not forget to learn how to protect our loved ones who reside in it, too.
My logo is a simple representation of that very sentiment ❤.
When we think about the term cardiac arrest, it is common to think that it only affects adults. In reality, cardiac arrest can happen to anyone of any age. If an adult, child or infant collapsed, would you know what to do?
Whether you are at your place of business, the mall, the gym, or at home, knowing how to respond to emergencies by providing early CPR and defibrillation will greatly increase a victim's chance of survival.
Blended learning options are available to reduce staff down-time.
